    2024-2025 Summer Rising Admissions Dates: The following is a timeline to help you keep track of all important due dates for the upcoming Summer Rising Admissions process.
      • March 3 – Summer Rising application open!
      • March 28 – Summer Rising application closes.
      • April 24 – Summer Rising Results.
      • May 8 – Acceptance Deadline.

    *New York State Grades 3–8 English Language Arts (ELA)- April 29 – 30, 2025

     

    *New York State English as a Second Language Achievement Test (NYSELAT)- April 14 – May 23, 2025 (Speaking)
    May 12 – 23, 2025 (Reading, Writing, Listening)

     

    *New York State Grades 3–8 Math- May 6 – 16, 2025

     

    *New York State Grades 5 & 8 Science- May 13 – 16, 2025

     

    *Please make sure your child gets a good night's sleep the night before and eats a healthy breakfast the morning of.

What’s Happening in NYC Public Schools

2025 Bronx Summer Art

BRONX Summer Arts is a FREE three-week program designed to introduce young people in the Bronx community to the joy of the ARTS

Program Dates:

JULY 14TH- 31ST MON-THURS 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Students will work with arts instructors and teaching artists on culminating showcases to be presented at the conclusion of the program. No prior experience is necessary. Priority will be given to students entering middle school in the Fall. Lunch and school bus options available. Pouring into young artists...one studio at a time!

BAND- Grades 4-6  CHOIR- Grades 4-6 DANCE - Grades 4-7 

Applications open Monday, March 24th at 9:00 AM
